NPO法人 地雷原を綿畑に！Nature Saves Cambodia!では現在カンボジアの地雷原を綿畑にする、「綿の島プロジェクト」をはじめ、オーガニックコットンの栽培、地雷の撤去等の活動をしています

Cambodian Organic Agriculture Association "CorAA" has finally issued to us: Nature Saves Cambodia "NSC" an Organic Cotton Certification - validity till early 2013. This the sweetest rewards for us for working hard for the last three years to cultivate Organic Cotton ,make hand-spun cotton thread,hand-woven textile items and souvenirs.

On February 25th 2012 Mr. Tanaka Souichi ,Representative of NPO"JHP", and Mr. Kimura Shinya ,Country Representative, with other 13 members visit our NGO "Nature Saves Cambodia" at Koh Dach Village. They are interested with our Organic Cotton Cultivation.

Their first stop was at our organic cotton farm in the village. Everyone had shown keen interests in our field.

Their next stop was at the Handicraft Centre at Koh Dach Village.
Our Handicraft Centre produce hand-spun thread by using our Organic Cotton from our Organic Cotton Farm. The team was delighted and had a good time with our grandma.

Cambodian Organic Agriculture Association ( CorAA ) has conducted an inspection of Organic Cotton Cultivation by "Nature Saves Cambodia" at Badack village Battambang province and Koh Dach. The inspection by Mr Veata Mey- CorAA inspector. After inspection CorAA will grant Chemical Free Certification to ( NSC ). We'll continue to ask for Organic Certification in next seeding season July,2012.

The CorAA Certification conducts base on two areas:
1. Cultivation Section
2. Production Section (Natural Dye included).

Jan,28th,2012 University student from japan, Ami Suzuki and her friend visit"NSC" center Koh Dach village. The team interested about our project.
they are enjoy with our grandma making hand spun thread by using Organic cotton,and interesting with our member weaving, want to know our project.
