Hello everyone,
Jai san 63 year old. She was born and live at Koh Dach village.
Since she was born her parent divorce and leave her with her grandma.
Grandma take care of me and i call her "mom" Jai san said.
When i grow up,i used to see my grandma and willagers grow cotton,
evrywere was full of cotton farm. Koh Dach can call cotton island.
It was the France colonize Cambodia. It's take century for Cambodia
to independent thier country.
The cotton products such as spun thread,textile was control by France.
France do not allow villagers to do bussiness by them self.
All the profit go to France.
My grandma and villagers have to go to gangle far from home to do spuning
thread or weaving. If France know they will arrest them.
I want to learn how to spun thread but my grandma not allow me, Jai said.
Sometime when grandma go somewhere i try to spun thread but not success.
Thread was damage and so difficult to spun.
When grandma came back and see, I was punished.
My best grandma was die in Pol Pot's era by starvation,sickness.
After NSC with support of NPO started cotton project at my village
i was so happy and i join the project since then.
My memory of my grandma spuning appear.
The NSC training project is very good. They collect many elderly women who
know how to spun thread,weav. and the knowledge person train others.
That's my dream come true. I can spun thread and touch cotton again.
I want to say great thank to Japan donor that bring my dream came true.
The project so mean to me and family living condition.

ジャイさんは６３歳です。コーダエで生まれ育ちました。
彼女が生まれてすぐ両親は離婚し、彼女はおばあさんと暮らしました。
「おばあさんが世話してくれて、私はおばあさんをママと呼んでいました」と、ジャイさんは言います。
「おばあさんや村の人たちがコットンを栽培しているのを見て育ちました。どこもコットン畑だらけでした。コーダエは"綿の島"と言ってもいい所でした。
当時、カンボジアはフランスの植民地でした。カンボジアが独立するには、１世紀がかかりました。糸やテキスタイルといったコットン製品はフランスによってコントロールされていました。フランスは、村人が自分たちでビジネスをするのを許しませんでした。利益はすべてフランスに流れました。おばあさんや村人たちは、家から遠く離れてこっそり糸を紡ぎ、はた織りをしました。もしフランスが知ったら、捕まっていたでしょう。私も糸紡ぎを覚えたかったのですが、おばあさんが許しませんでした。」と、ジャイは言う。
「おばあさんがどこかに行っていないとき、糸を紡いでみるのですがうまくいきません。
糸はいたんで、紡ぐのはとても難しかったです。おばあさんが戻ってそれを見ると、わたしは叱られました。
大好きなおばあさんは、ポルポト時代に、飢えと病気で死にました。
NSCが日本のNPOのサポートで、コットンプロジェクトをこの村で始めたとき、私はとても嬉しくて、それからずっと、プロジェクトに参加しています。
糸を紡ぐおばあさんの思い出が浮かびます。
NSCのトレーニングプロジェクトはとてもいいです。糸紡ぎや織りを知っている年寄りの女性をたくさん集めて、みんなのトレーニングをします。
私の夢が現実になったのです。私は、糸を紡いで、再びコットンに触れることができるのです。
日本の寄付してくれているみなさんに、深い感謝を伝えたいです。おかげで、夢が叶いました。このプロジェクトは、私と家族の生活の支えになっています。
神さまが、みなさまに最善を与えますように。」（と、ジャイさんが言っている。）

Phea 36 year old. She is Jai san daugther.
She join NSC Training project since 2009.
She become one of the best weaving in our project.
She work so hard to complete her duty and try to help other member too.
Phea san train Thorn san and Sopheap san to weav.
Thorn san and Sopheap success training and become good weaver.
Phea san want to say great thank to Japan donor that alway support.
She wishes she can weav and make many good products.
The weaving project is my life,Great Japaness people " Phea said ".

ピアさんは３６歳です。ジャイさんの娘です。
NSCのトレーニングプロジェクトに２００９年から参加しています。
私たちのプロジェクトで、最も腕のいい織り手の一人になりました。
彼女は自分の任務を遂行するために、とてもハードに仕事をします。そして他のメンバーを助けようとします。
トーンさんソピアプさんに織りを指導したのもピアさんです。
トーンさんソピアプさんはトレーニングに成功し、いい織り手になりました。
ピアさんは、寄付してくれている日本のみなさんに、深く感謝しています。
たくさんのいい製品を織って作りたいと願っています。
「織りのプロジェクトは、私の人生です。日本のみなさんグレートです」と、ピアさんは言っています。
